Director - Building Surveying

Built Alliance are partnered with a forward-thinking independent consultancy that is now ready to establish a new Manchester office. Backed by strong financial investment and a clear growth strategy, they are seeking a Director-level Building Surveyor to spearhead this exciting next chapter.

You will work closely with the ambitious and highly driven owner, who has already built a successful and well-established team. This role offers the autonomy to shape and grow the Manchester office, with full support to recruit and develop your own team. You’ll also take the lead on existing client instructions while driving business development and expanding relationships across key sectors.

The practice itself has an excellent reputation, delivering a full spectrum of professional building surveying services including technical due diligence, design and specification, employer’s agent, and project management. Their portfolio spans private commercial investors, developers, and long-term framework agreements within healthcare and higher education.

We’re seeking an individual who is either already operating at Director level, or an Associate ready to step up. You will bring the drive, ambition, and commercial acumen to grow a regional office, win new work, and become a key figure within the business.
